Paediatric Addendum

     

The Addendum is intended to support the future design and development of paediatric palliative care services across Australia, while also supporting the health professionals who deliver care to children with specialist palliative care needs and their families.

It also highlights both the similarities and differences between adult and paediatric palliative care. These unique characteristics often require specific consideration in service planning and resource allocation.

The Addendum has been developed with the valuable contribution of a dedicated working group, whose expertise and guidance informed the process throughout.
