Tanya is a proud Gamilaraay woman from Coonabarabran mainly raised on Dharawal Land, Campbelltown NSW.

Tanya is the Palliative Care & Chronic and Complex Needs Aboriginal Health Worker (AHW) at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network (SCHN).

This position was the first of its kind in the specialty of Paediatrics Palliative Care across NSW.

Tanya enjoys running in the bush and doing Aboriginal artwork. Tanya often goes on Country to connect to her Spiritual Ancestors. The connection with Country & my Spirits, helps me refuel for my work.
