Nurse Practitioner - Precious Wings

Kerry Gordon is a Nurse Practitioner working in the Paediatric Palliative Care Service (PPCS) based at the Queensland Children’s Hospital; a state-wide multi-disciplinary service providing consultancy services directly to patients, primary care teams and within the patient’s local community.  Kerry has over 20 years’ experience in Paediatrics and trained as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner 11 years ago. She also achieved credentialing as a Paediatric Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner in 2017. Her contribution to Child Health was acknowledged in 2019 when she was nominated for the 2019 Children's Health Care Australasia Medal of Distinction. Kerry is also the CEO and founder of the charity Precious Wings, which provides support and the gift of a memory box to families who lose a child of any age from any cause.
