Dr Jaaniste has a background in clinical psychology. She is Head of the Pain and Palliative Care Research Team at Sydney Children’s Hospital, and Senior Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. She has over 65 peer-reviewed publications, most in the area of children’s pain or palliative care.
